Westfield Engineering & Services
requires mill test reports on all structural/pipe and pressure vessel components from our suppliers. In addition, all these material undergo a Material Receiving Inspection, where grade, heat number, and slab number are verified prior to the material receiving a Shop Code Number. The respective purchase order number, heat number, slab number, and shop code number are then logged into a Material Control Log before the materials are released for construction. In this manner Quality Assurance documentation is complete and easily tracked.
